Meet The Scouts

Big Adventure Awaits!

Here's what riders, reviewers and parents have to say about the Scouts:

Two Wheeling Tots

“If you’re looking for a bike that’s built to last and will help your kid progress and have a good time on the trails, the Cleary Scout is a solid choice… It falls into the middle of the spectrum of riding and is designed for and excels on smoother, flatter flow trails…” -Kelly @ Two Wheeling Tots

Very Impressed

“I wanted to get him a bike that we could ride hard for the next 2-3 years when he can inherit his brother’s full suspension. I was looking for disc brakes, an air fork, and a lightweight design. This checks all the boxes.” -Darren

Like a bike that would be twice the cost

“It shifts smoothly, brakes like a bike that would be twice the cost, and the paint is an absolute head-turner in the sun! Will definitely be recommending it to all of our friends.” -Brad

This Scout is awesome!

“It was easy to assemble following the video instructions. I had to put the seat ALL the way down for now, which means he’ll get a few solid years on this bike before he outgrows it. The first ride around the neighborhood was great; easy for him to shift, and brakes were responsive.” -Matt

Each bike builds on the last.

From their first foray on single-track to big, fast lines, the Scouts progress with your rider.

One bike to do it all - the Scouts are a quiver killer!

Remember when a week’s worth of bike rides involved a trip to the neighborhood pool with friends, an evening family ride on a gravel path, and a ramp to get some big air? We built the Scouts to be the go-to for adventure. Whether that’s in a bike lane, gravel path, or single-track trail, the Scouts do all that and more. Let your rider push the limits of fun.

Your Questions Answered

Can I put a dropper seat post on the Scout?

Yes! A 30.9 post or a 27.2 post with a shim will both work on the Scouts. Some considerations for a kids dropper are rider weight and minimum insertion length. We like the PNW Fern.

The max tire size on the Scouts is a 2.4″.

The Scout tires are tubeless ready. They’ll need to be taped and sealed, we recommend having this done by an experienced bike mechanic.
